The Zoetrope is my 2nd Year collaboration Film project, still currently in progress. The brief was to create a short film inspired by "The Spirit of Animation" as the concept. 

 

It follows Abigail, A young Victorian girl moving into an old house with her mean Aunt Arugula. When moving in she discovers a mysterious device, a Zoetrope, which she is curious about. Once investigated it reveals a mysterious creature that attempts to befriend and deceive her.

This is the first collaborative film I have done, I worked on the animatic team and as a clean-up artist, doing partial character design for poses and expressions.

It is still currently in progress but above you can see the full film as it stands as well as pages from our art book.
